stop making sense - part 1
business terms and phrases i've learned to despise: 1) anything involving "circle," e.g., "let me circle up with my team and get back to you," "we'll circle back and let you know." 2) "bandwidth," when people mean capacity

I resent the use of "team," as if it is a fun game we're playing, rather than a tedious march toward corporatocracy.
But I sorta love the term "stakeholders." Especially when used to refer to the general public as affected by the acts of the corporation. Because I can turn the whole thing into an episode of Gothic horror: just picture these "stakeholders" angrily gathered outside the gates of the corporate headquarters, carrying flaming torches as well as actual STAKES, to drive into the heart of the beast lurking within.
