ooh i'll have to try that next. i don't know what it is about these spicy dried mangoes, but they are seriously addictive. at first you think, ugh, weird! then you find yourself holding an empty bag.

I guess I have to change my blogofile now, and start putting together the logistics for the opening of Interweb Detritus' west coast office...As for Sahadi's, I myself really enjoy the cheese bread. You have to get it when it's still pretty fresh, but it's kind of out of control. Also, Sahadi's sells unusually good Hummus--not La Shish-in-Dearborn-good, but very good nonetheless.
the papaya spears are hard to eat, but so worth it. and of course, the olives are delicious too. And i agree with you about the spicy mangoes, e. totally addictive.

Thanks!! Sahadi's is my favorite. I especially love the dried papaya spears--the ones that look like huge tongues, not the candied ones.
